The National Association of Purchasing Management of Southern Colorado is the local affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). ISM current serves over 40,000 members and over 140 affiliates. ISM is best known for the Report On Business (the ROB Report) for the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors. This is considered to be the closest near term indicator for the economy by the Federal Reserve. Our program goals are predicated upon the advancement of supply management practices and techniques within all industries. CPSM Insights

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) designated the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) as the title for the profession's revamped and expanded qualification program. The Certified Professional in Supply Management is rapidly becoming the new certification of choice for progressive hiring managers when searching for strategic supply management professionals. The CPSM is recognized internationally and reflects the expanded education, skills and experience needed to be a successful supply management professional. The CPSM made its first debut in 2008.

NAPM of Southern Colorado is an affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM, formerly NAPM), an international  association of Procurement and Materials professionals.   Our mission and objective is to provide educational, training, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for the advancement of our membership and those who wish to become members.   We offer these member services through local and national seminars and training events, interactive satellite presentations, regular dinner meetings with speakers and group discussions, as well as access to ISM's national library and database of relevent topics, academic research,  economic trend index (Purchasing Managers "Report on Business"), and other resources for the Procurement and Materials profession.
