Each year NAPMSC votes in new officers for the Board of Directors. Voting will take place in April and officers will be installed at the May 2014 dinner meeting. This is a good time to consider the benefits of participating on the board. It is a great way to connect with colleagues and members, and holding an office looks good on a resume. The open positions are:

Lean Master Training from our friends at APICS Pikes Peak

is offering Master Planning of Resources
(MPR) starting March 17, 2014. The class is held Monday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00. Your paid registration for the MPR course is due one week prior to the first class meeting, March 10, 2014.
NEW! In collaboration with Transformance Advisors, APICS Pikes Peak is offering a Certified Lean Master program this springs. The multi-session Certified Lean Master program provides a complete package of education, application, and coaching for those seeking to create a sustainable lean organization.
There are 3 sessions of 3 days providing 9 days of classroom instruction and coaching:
- Session A: Crafting a lean initiative and value stream mapping.
- Session B: Creating flow and leveraging pull.
- Session C: Sustainable lean organizations and the CLM exam.
During the breaks between sessions, participants work on their lean projects and have access to instructors and a package of online tools.
Our mission is to provide educational, training, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for the advancement of our membership and those who wish to become members.
We offer these member services through local and national seminars and training events, interactive online presentations, regular dinner meetings with speakers and group discussions, as well as access to ISM's national library and database of relevant topics, academic research, economic trend index (“Report on Business"), and other resources for the Procurement and Materials profession.
NAPM of Southern Colorado is an affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM, formerly NAPM), an international association of Procurement and Materials professionals.
